The Akuvox A08 (A08S) is a slim, mullion-style access control terminal that accepts PIN codes, QR codes, Bluetooth BLE 5.0 (with wave-to-unlock), 125 kHz / 13.56 MHz RFID cards and NFC on Android phones. With RS485 / OSDP, an IP65 / IK09 vandal-resistant housing and PoE power, it is managed via Akuvox Cloud, SDMC and ACMS.

Does the Akuvox A08 support facial recognition?

No. The A08 has no camera and does not support facial recognition. It uses PIN, QR code, Bluetooth, RFID cards and Android NFC as credentials.
