What is a LoRaWAN sensor and gateway?
LoRaWAN is a low-power, long-range wireless standard for IoT. Battery-powered Milesight sensors measure things like temperature, occupancy, air quality, leaks and energy and send readings to a LoRaWAN gateway, which forwards the data to your cloud platform, BMS or dashboard. One gateway can cover an entire building or campus.
Which Milesight IoT sensors are used in smart buildings?
Common choices are AM300 Series for indoor air quality, VS121, VS133 and VS340 for people counting and desk occupancy, EM300-TH for temperature and humidity, WS303 and EM300-SLD for leak detection, CT-series for energy metering and WT-series thermostats for HVAC control, connected through a UG65 or UG67 gateway.
Can Milesight IoT data integrate with our BMS or platform?
