The Akuvox E16P is a commercial-grade SIP video door phone and access controller that combines palm vein recognition with AI facial recognition and dual-camera liveness detection. With a 5-inch touchscreen, IP65 rating and seven ways to unlock, it secures communities, offices and commercial sites.
Palm vein recognition reads the unique vein pattern beneath the skin of the palm using near-infrared light. Because the pattern is internal, it is extremely difficult to copy, works touch-free, and is unaffected by masks, glasses or changes in appearance. The E16P stores up to 20,000 palm vein templates.
The E16P supports seven identification methods: palm vein, face, RFID card (13.56 MHz), NFC, PIN, Bluetooth (BLE 5.0) and QR code. Face identification takes under 200 ms with 99.7% accuracy, and dual-camera liveness detection blocks photo and video spoofing.
Yes. The E16P is IP65 rated, operates from -20°C to +55°C and supports flush or wall mounting. It includes IR and white-light LEDs, a light sensor and a tamper alarm, and is powered by 802.3af PoE or a 12V DC supply.
Yes. The E16P complies with SIP and ONVIF and integrates with SIP servers such as Grandstream UCM, Yeastar, Asterisk and 3CX, as well as Akuvox SmartPlus. Wiegand input/output and RS485 ports connect it to existing access control panels.
