For security reasons, the CyberData Networked Dual Door Strike Relay was developed and it is a new product. It allows monitoring and control of two doors when used in a ‘mantrap’ or ‘airlock’ configuration. It is deployed in the network security infrastructure. Power for the strikes can be internal 12V or it can be from an external source. The device is PoE powered (802.3af) and provides an encrypted communication method for secure access. All the events that are recorded on the device can be sent to the network host. The product directly interacts with CyberData’s line of VoIP products and also provides an API for third-party applications.
